One-line description
Data2Dao is an iPhone app that turns movement, mindfulness, and your Apple Health data into a cultivation adventure—with an orange cat by your side.
Short description
Stand your iPhone up and Data2Dao's front camera recognizes squats, side stretches and more right on the device—every rep is a strike from your orange cat against a monster. Sleep, HRV, meditation and Screen Time shape each day's Qi and Inner Demon, while workouts, meditation and moods build a long-term Path timeline.
Long description
Data2Dao (Chinese name 大数据修仙, “Big Data Cultivation”) is a cultivation game driven by the state of your body. It's made for people who sit for long hours, keep irregular schedules and want to move more but struggle to stay consistent. It isn't a plain health dashboard or a heavy RPG: cultivation is how progress is expressed, and the orange cat is your companion along the way.
The core is camera battles. Using Apple's Vision framework, the front camera recognizes body pose on the phone itself; squats, side stretches, push-ups, high knees and other moves are counted and turned into the cat's attacks. The Skills tab adds follow-along routines—Longevity Arts, Body Tempering, Wall Angel, Baduanjin and Broadcast Exercise 8.
Beyond exercise, the app offers 1–5 minute 4-7-8 breathing meditation saved to Apple Health as mindful minutes. With permission, sleep, resting heart rate, HRV, activity and Screen Time combine into the day's Qi and Inner Demon. On rough days you can take leave—two days in every 7-day chapter.
