Data2Dao
Privacy Policy
This policy covers the Data2Dao app and data2dao.com.
Data used by features
- Health: with permission, Apple Health data supports on-device trends and training. Workouts or mindfulness sessions may be saved to Health when you choose to record them.
- Camera and audio: pose recognition runs on device; photos and highlight recordings are optional. Voice input sends audio through our gateway to Doubao / Volcengine for transcription; local recordings are deleted after transcription. Text-to-speech sends the text to be read.
- Accounts and purchases: our servers process your Apple sign-in identifier, nickname, and peer profile. Apple and RevenueCat process purchases, transactions, and subscription access. Other peers can see your nickname and profile.
- Location and Screen Time: with permission, these support nearby places, check-ins, and usage trends. Practice progress, chapters, and artwork can sync through iCloud; health details stay on device.
Optional analytics and website statistics
- With consent, Mixpanel directly processes a random analytics identifier, page and interaction events, timestamps, and masked screen replays in the United States to help improve the app.
- AppsFlyer performs advertising attribution only when system tracking permission is granted. Separately enabled anonymous spirit-root statistics compare training and recovery trends.
- The website uses Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and Speed Insights for traffic and performance statistics, processing information such as pages, devices, and network data.
- Some pages embed demo videos using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode; when you play one, YouTube processes related data under its own privacy policy.
Controls and deletion
Turn off product analytics or anonymous contribution in Settings → Privacy & Account. Manage permissions in system Settings or Health. Turning off analytics stops future collection.
Data is retained as needed for the relevant features. Third-party services process and retain data under their applicable policies. Delete your account in the app, or email us to request access, correction, or deletion.
